Brooke Shields Reveals Close Bond with Daughters: They Still Sleep in Bed with Her When Husband is Away
Brooke Shields, the 58-year-old model, opened up about her close relationship with her two daughters during an interview on Jess Cagle’s Sirius XM show. She shared that her daughters, Grier (18) and Rowan (20), still join her in bed whenever her husband, Chris Henchy, is out of town. “You know, the minute my husband is on any type of work trip or gone or something, you know, they still sleep in the bed with me,” Brooke revealed. She added, “We still watch rom-coms. They’re my babies and they will never not be.”
As her daughters prepare to head off to college, Brooke admitted that she’s “avoiding” the thought of them being gone. Despite people telling her that she’ll be relieved when they leave, she doesn’t see it happening. “Well, they’re still gonna come back,” she said. She also joked about potentially charging her girls rent once they’re living on their own. “That might be a good idea,” she quipped.
Last month, Brooke celebrated her youngest daughter Grier’s 18th birthday by sharing a series of adorable pictures on Instagram. The proud mother posted a nostalgic photo of her planting a kiss on Grier’s cheek when she was a toddler. She also included a collage of recent pictures of Grier, as well as sweet childhood photos. In the caption, Brooke expressed her love for her daughter and celebrated the woman she is becoming.
