Stuart Bingham was left furious with himself following his defeat to Jak Jones in the World Snooker Championship semi-finals. Bingham, who had previously defeated Ronnie O’Sullivan in the quarter-finals, started the match with a 3-0 lead but failed to maintain his momentum. He described his performance as “embarrassing,” admitting that he made numerous mistakes and missed several easy shots. Bingham expressed his disappointment, especially after his impressive performance against O’Sullivan. He acknowledged Jones’ skills but felt that he didn’t have to work hard to secure the victory.

Jones, on the other hand, acknowledged that he wasn’t playing exceptionally well, but he managed to win the match. He defeated two former champions, Zhang Anda and Judd Trump, before facing Bingham in the semi-finals. Despite his victories, Jones couldn’t explain how he keeps winning, stating that he isn’t doing anything exceptional or scoring heavily.

In the final, Jones will be up against Kyren Wilson, who has also had an impressive run in the tournament. Both players will be looking to secure the championship title, but Bingham’s disappointing performance has left him feeling gutted and frustrated. He couldn’t understand why he couldn’t replicate his previous success and put up a fight in the match against Jones.
