BBC viewers were left fuming over the recent coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The popular morning show, BBC Breakfast, made its return on Saturday (May 18), with hosts Charlie Stayt and Nina Warhurst reclaiming their spots on the iconic red sofa.

During the program, they handed over to newswatch presenter Samira Ahmed, who shared the opinions of viewers regarding the BBC News’ coverage of recent events. This included Prince Harry’s highly publicized visit to the UK, which he described as “great”.

The Duke of Sussex attended a charity event in central London, standing alongside children who had tragically lost their parents in the military. However, the BBC News coverage didn’t stop there. They also provided live updates from Nigeria, where Prince Harry went to meet his wife.

While the couple’s trip was featured on multiple BBC News bulletins throughout the week, it was met with a wave of anger from viewers. Many took the time to contact the BBC, demanding that they cease reporting on the couple altogether.

One viewer even phoned in to express their frustration, stating, “The Prince of Wales is on official duty today, yet there’s not a single headline about him. Instead, we’re bombarded with coverage of the ridiculous Meghan and Harry’s ongoing privacy tour. It’s absolutely absurd!”
