Former This Morning star Dr Ranj Singh, 44, has taken to social media to address rumors about his medical license. In response to a tweet suggesting he had been “stripped” of his license, Dr Ranj clarified that he had voluntarily put his license on hold this year because he is not currently doing any clinical work. He emphasized that this is a common practice among doctors and not a cause for concern. Dr Ranj also expressed frustration with the attention-seeking nature of the tweet.

Contrary to the speculation, it has been confirmed that Dr Ranj was registered with a license to practice from November 16, 2019, to May 13, 2024. A spokesperson for Dr Ranj reiterated that there is no other reason for the temporary hold on his license and that he remains a registered doctor with the General Medical Council (GMC).

Aside from his television appearances, Dr Ranj is active on Instagram, where he shares clips of his regular appearances on Morning Live and offers advice to viewers on various topics. He recently joined DJ Scott Mills on BBC Radio Two to discuss the therapeutic benefits of music. According to Dr Ranj, listening to music stimulates the vagus nerve, which helps to calm the body’s sympathetic nervous system and promote relaxation.

In addition to his work in the medical field, Dr Ranj has also announced his participation in the UK and Ireland tour of the hit musical & Juliet. He expressed his excitement and revealed that he has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this opportunity a reality. Dr Ranj considers it a dream come true.
