BARGAIN HUNT HOST WOWS VIEWERS IN CLASSIC EPISODE

Christina Trevanion, the beloved host of Bargain Hunt, delighted viewers in a recent episode of the BBC auction programme. Since her debut in 2012, the 42-year-old has become a firm fixture and fan favorite.

In the episode that aired on Thursday (May 23), Christina took the lead as she introduced the red team couple Chris and Helen, as well as the blue side Andrew and Karen. Viewers were thrilled as she dove into the costume archives of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, uncovering costumes worn by David Tennant. The excitement continued as she visited Bigwood Auctioneers with Mark Ashley to appraise items like a beautiful compact mirror and monogrammed lighter.

Fans couldn’t help but gush over Christina’s appearance throughout the episode. One fan took to social media and wrote, “Really rather lovely Christina on hosting duties.” Another commented, “The truly lovely Christina today. #BargainHunt.” It’s safe to say that viewers were captivated by her charm.

Towards the end of the programme, the red team took a risk and decided to go for expert Kate Bliss’ bonus buy, a 19th-century animal tether. Unfortunately, their £50 investment didn’t pay off at auction and resulted in a £20 loss. Despite this setback, the red team still fared better than their competition, the blue team, who experienced a loss of £55 with their items.

Christina tried to reassure the blue team, saying, “It could be a winning score. Not a word to those cheeky reds, okay?” However, it was later revealed that Helen and Chris emerged as the victors of the buying competition.

In the final moments of the show, Christina delivered the news that neither team would be leaving with any money. She emphasized that it was all about the scale of losses and commended both teams for their choices. She concluded by saying, “Who cares about the numbers, we all had fun, didn’t we?”
