Hannah Waddingham had fans laughing after missing out on a BAFTA TV Award. The star-studded ceremony took place on Sunday evening, bringing together the biggest names in British television.

The 49-year-old actress looked stunning on the red carpet in a tight-fitting gown embellished with sparkling crystals.

Hannah was nominated for two awards at the ceremony: Best Entertainment Performance for hosting Eurovision in 2023, and Best Entertainment Programme for Hannah Waddingham: Home For Christmas.

Unfortunately, she didn’t win the award for Best Entertainment Programme, which went to Strictly Come Dancing. But Hannah took the loss in stride and made a joke about it.

As Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman celebrated their win, the camera showed Hannah, who playfully pretended to drink from her bracelet, which looked like a hip flask.

Fans found Hannah’s reaction hilarious and took to social media to express their amusement. One fan called her reaction “amazing,” while another said she was their “favorite loser.”

But it wasn’t all bad for Hannah, as she had the opportunity to accept the award for Best Live Event Coverage on behalf of The Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in 2023. Hannah co-hosted the event alongside Alesha Dixon, Graham Norton, and Julia Sanina.

Fans were impressed with Hannah’s appearance on stage during last year’s Eurovision. Reflecting on the experience, Hannah described it as a stressful but fabulous week.
