Now, with new details emerging about Harris and her ex-wife Ali Krieger’s divorce proceedings, fans will be revisiting their timeline once again.
According to Us Weekly, Krieger secretly filed for divorce from Harris in New Jersey on December 1, 2023. Three months earlier, on September 19, 2023, Harris had filed for divorce in Florida. However, since they did not reside in Florida, Harris’ filing was deemed incorrect, and Krieger’s suit will be moving forward.
In her filing, Krieger requested a custody arrangement and parenting time that prioritizes the best interests of their two children. The couple shares a daughter, Sloane, who is 3 years old, and a son named Ocean, who is 1 year old. Krieger is also seeking child support, legal fees, and an equal division of their assets and liabilities.
While it may be puzzling as to why Harris filed in the wrong state, it is possible that she was in a hurry to take legal action. It has been reported that Harris and Bush began dating in October. However, Bush addressed rumors of overlapping timelines in her essay, stating that their friendship grew because they were both going through breakups at the same time.
During a shared weekend of speaking engagements at a conference in Cannes, Harris provided a kind ear for those who opened up about their problems. It soon became evident that she also needed someone to listen to her.
Bush’s ex, Grant Hughes, faced accusations of being a home-wrecker. However, Hughes clarified that the allegations of her leaving her ex because she suddenly realized she wanted to be with women were unfounded. She emphasized that her partners have always been aware of her preferences. So, there is no truth to those claims.
