ANNA NICOLE SMITH’S TEEN DAUGHTER ATTENDS KENTUCKY DERBY WITH DAD
It was a special day for Larry Birkhead and his daughter, Dannielynn, as they attended the 150th Kentucky Derby together. Dannielynn, who bears a striking resemblance to her late mother, Anna Nicole Smith, looked stunning in a red ruffled floor-length dress and a floral hat. Larry, the proud father, shared a series of photos on Instagram to commemorate their outing.
In one of the pictures, Larry revealed that Dannielynn’s dress was inspired by her favorite character, Hino Eiji from Kamen Rider OOO TaJaDor combo. He humorously mentioned that Dannielynn insisted on him including this detail in the caption. Larry expressed his joy at spending quality time with his daughter as the weekend of traditions came to an end.
Larry himself looked sharp for the derby, donning a gray suit, a white button-up shirt, and black dress shoes. This father-daughter duo has made attending the Kentucky Derby and the Barnstable-Brown Gala an annual tradition. Last year, Larry shared that he had met Anna Nicole Smith at the same event 20 years prior.
Tragically, Anna Nicole Smith passed away from a drug overdose in 2007 when Dannielynn was just 5 months old. Since then, Larry has been raising their daughter as a single father. On Dannielynn’s 17th birthday, Larry shared rare photos of her, expressing how proud he is of the young woman she has become. He believes that Anna Nicole Smith would be incredibly proud of their daughter as well.
The bond between Larry and Dannielynn is heartwarming to see, and their appearance at the Kentucky Derby only further showcases their special relationship.
