Budding fashion publicist Anna Delvey is set to make waves in the fashion world once again with her unique and daring approach. Delvey, known for her infamous scams, has now launched the OutLaw Agency, a fashion PR consultancy, in collaboration with industry legend Kelly Cutrone. The agency’s first event, a Fashion Week show for suiting brand SHAO New York, took place on the rooftop of Delvey’s East Village apartment while she was under house arrest. Now, OutLaw is preparing for its second event, which will be an immigration hearing in a New York courtroom. This hearing will also serve as a press preview for new pieces from SHAO New York.

Delvey’s courtroom fashion during her 2019 trial garnered attention and headlines. She hired a stylist and even refused to attend a hearing when her designer outfits didn’t arrive in time. This week’s bold look, created by Delvey and designer Shao Yang, is a statement against the expectation for defendants to dress demurely in court. Cutrone, co-founder of OutLaw Agency, expressed her frustration with the discrimination of women based on their attire and emphasized the need for change in both the legal and fashion systems.

Delvey was convicted of attempted grand larceny, larceny in the second degree, and theft of services, resulting in a prison sentence of 4 to 12 years. After serving two years, she was handed over to the custody of ICE in 2022. Delvey is currently fighting to remain in the United States instead of being deported to Germany.
