ALISON HAMMOND’S SON UNDERGOES TONSILLECTOMY: THIS MORNING PRESENTER SHARES UPDATE

This Morning presenter Alison Hammond has taken to social media to inform her fans about her son’s health after he underwent a tonsillectomy. The 19-year-old can be seen in a video lying in a hospital bed and assuring everyone that he’s “feeling good.”

In the footage uploaded to Instagram, Alison can be heard supporting her son, saying, “You don’t need it right now. I’m here,” as he tries to press a hospital button in case he needs anything. He responds, “I’m relaxed man! I’m good.” A doctor in the background adds, “If he was any more laid back he’d be head down.”

Alison’s teenage son, Aidan, shared the videos on Instagram, writing, “Aidan 1 – tonsils 0 and Me high as a [kite emoji].” Alison replied in the comments, expressing her concern for her son, saying, “My poor baby.”

Alison has been keeping busy as the new presenter of For The Love Of Dogs on Channel 4. Taking over from the late Paul O’Grady, who passed away in March 2023, Alison has acknowledged that she can never replace him but is “excited” for the role.

While some fans have been pleased to see Alison taking on the show and helping dogs in need, others have found it “strange” that she doesn’t own a dog like Paul did. Alison has defended herself against critics who questioned her suitability for the role.
