Alison Hammond’s Son Shares Hilarious Hospital Update After Tonsillectomy
Alison Hammond’s son, Aidan Hammond, gave his followers a glimpse into his hospital experience as he recovered from a tonsillectomy. The 19-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of funny videos, showing that he was doing well after the procedure.
In one of the clips, Aidan can be seen wearing a hospital gown while lying in bed. He reassured his viewers that he was “feeling good” after having his tonsils removed, jokingly dismissing any concerns. “Dunno what all the fuss is about really. It’s fine!” he exclaimed.
Aidan further captioned the post, “Aidan 1 – tonsils 0 and Me high as a [kite emoji].” His supportive mother, Alison, responded with sympathy, saying, “My poor baby,” accompanied by a heart-eyed emoji.
Another video featured a hospital staff member showing Aidan a button to press if he needed anything. Alison chimed in, telling him that he didn’t need it at the moment because she was there for him. As Aidan looked around the bed, Alison comforted him, saying, “Just relax, darling.” Clearly under the influence of medication, Aidan slurred, “I’m relaxed man! I’m good.” Alison burst into laughter, and the doctor added, “If he was any more laidback he’d be head down.”
In a third clip, Aidan could be seen lying in bed with his eyes closed, humming melodically. Alison couldn’t help but giggle as Aidan asked if she was laughing at him. She replied, “You’re making me laugh, babe. Is that helping you? Is it soothing?” Aidan didn’t respond, continuing his tune.
Fans found Aidan’s update hilarious and sent their well wishes. Alison’s close friend and This Morning co-star, Josie Gibson, commented with crying laughing emojis. One of Alison’s fans praised her, saying, “Bless him, has the best mum.” Another added, “Ooooh Alison I shouldn’t laugh. It so reminds me when my sons had their tonsils out. Bless him, GET WELL SOON Aidan… you will be better in no time.” A third fan sympathized with Aidan, saying, “Poor guy BUT he’s hilarious.”
