In a candid moment, she admitted that she used to dress up as a dolphin to promote dolphin-friendly tuna. Her co-host, Deborah, playfully exposed her, causing Alex to blush with embarrassment. However, she graciously accepted the teasing and even offered to show photographic evidence of her dolphin days.
Deborah also revealed her own humble beginnings, sharing that her first job involved leading pony rides along the seafront. Although she was paid very little, receiving pennies for her hard work, she cherished the opportunity to ride the ponies.
During the conversation, Alex mentioned that Deborah had written about other celebrities and their early career experiences in one of her books. Surprisingly, Harry Styles’ first job was in a bakery, while Taylor Swift worked on a Christmas tree farm, picking preying mantis off the tree buds to prevent them from hatching during people’s Christmas dinners.
