Exciting news for the line-up! A 90s pop icon is set to join Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox with her grown-up daughter, according to reports. Stars like Roman Kemp, Davina McCall, Bobby Brazier, and Tom Daley have previously appeared on the celebrity version of the series, entertaining the nation with their reactions to the latest TV happenings. In 2022, Spice Girls star Mel B appeared on the show with comedian Ruby Wax. Now, it’s been reported that the 48-year-old singer will return with her 25-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi. “It’s so exciting to have Scary Spice and Phoenix on the sofa together, they’re going to be fantastic,” an insider shared.

Mel B and Phoenix, whose father is dancer Jimmy Gulzar, are not the only celebrities rumored to join Celebrity Gogglebox recently. Last month, it was revealed that former Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier would also be joining the show with his dad Jeff Brazier and younger brother Freddie Brazier. “Producers are delighted that Freddie wants to join them,” a source said. “The trio have great banter and it will be great to treat Bobby’s huge fanbase to his rapport with Freddie. Jeff adores working with his sons and the brothers are really close, so it could lead to more projects together.”

Over the years, Phoenix has amazed Spice Girls fans with her striking resemblance to her mom, especially when she wears her iconic Scary Spice looks from the 90s. Earlier this year, Mel B revealed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that she was annoyed when she discovered her daughter had been raiding her wardrobe. “I was so annoyed,” she said. She then told Phoenix, “You’d better bring all that stuff back right now, ’cause they’re my clothes.”
